Welcome to Kasia Nicklin's Racing
website. Well the 2008 karting season came to an end, with Kasia taking 3rd place in the Whilton Mill Championship, 5th place at Shenington, being awarded the Lady Driver of the year at Shenington and getting the seeded number S15 in the National Super 1 Cadet kart series. We thought long and hard about what to do in 2009, and
decided to move out of Karting and spend 2009 preparing
for the move into cars in 2010.
You can read more from Kasia here, as she sums up her karting career Karting has long been recognised as the breading ground for future racing talent, indeed the vast majority of the successful British Racing Drivers seen on our screens over the last 25 years have started out on these apparently simple yet surprisingly complex and technical vehicles called Karts. Unlike some sports Karting it is one where girls and boys can compete on a level playing field as it tests not just a drivers strength or stamina but also their speed of reaction, awareness, concentration and sheer determination to win. Kasia (pronounced Kasha) is an accomplished athlete having competed at various levels in swimming, running, gymnastics and martial arts, though Karting is now her main focus and the one to which she devotes much of her time.
